Tara J Belmont is an emerging Fashion Designer and Artist from Sydney, Australia, currently based in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom. Her passion for the arts, natural world and conservation has ultimately driven her attention to sustainability in art and design. After graduating from Mosman High School, (Sydney, Australia) in 2013, where her graduate collection “Trust & Control” was exhibited in Art Express, Belmont moved her focus onto the fashion world before completing a Bachelor of Fashion and Textiles Design at the University of Technology Sydney.

In 2020, during the covid pandemic, Tara designed a Team Kit for British Dressage Olympian and London Olympics Gold Medalist, Laura Tomlinson, while working along side her team as their sports groom in Gloucestershire. The Tara Belmont x Laura Tomlinson collaboration ensured that sustainability influenced its composition while optimising performance and versatility of the designs.

Her purpose was realised after completing her time with Tomlinson nee Bechtolsheimer, and in 2023 launched her lifestyle brand. The brand grew through Belmont’s deeply embedded Equestrian roots that are woven through each design, where our motto “Be Prepared To”, has organically dictated our objective in designs. The need to deliver a brand that tackles every aspect of our customers being has remained a constant inspiration, and she strives to create collections that live up to our variable and active lives. By championing sustainability and conservation, we aim to actively influence others in becoming more conscious of their carbon footprint. Inspiring the importance of preserving our natural world, we hope to pave a brighter future for the fashion industry one step at a time.
